• Medicine graduate in 1998 • Post graduate specialization in Anesthesia in 2002 • Anesthesiologist MD and HEMS doctor. In the anesthesiology field mainly dealing with maxillofacial surgery, ENT and thoracic surgery. • experienced in low-flow inhalation anesthesia technique, in TIVA-TCI and in ultrasound-guided loco-regional anesthesia techniques. • ATLS instructor since 2006 • PHTLS instructor since 2007 • from the beginning of my working activity, I’ve been interested in "difficult airways management" either for intra and extra-hospital settings. In this field, after adequate theoretical-practical training, I have acquired a good experience in the operating room with the techniques of awake intubation using flexible bronchoscope and in tracheal intubation with rigid endoscope (Bonfils and VS) and video laryngoscopy. • lecturer for Anesthesia postgraduate specialization school in the Polytechnic University of Marche (UVIPM), didactive module entitled: "Airway management" • lecturer and speaker in various national and international courses and conferences, concerning the "in hospital and out of hospital airway management. • coordination board member of the study group "Airway Management" for the Italian Society of Anesthesia, Analgesia and Intensive Care (GVA-SIAARTI) • Since 2016 I’ve been attended the TAT (Training Airways Trainers) course and therefore I’m an instructor in the SIAARTI courses on airway management. • peer-reviewer for “Indian Journal of Anaesthesia”, “Minerva Anestesiologica”, “BMC Anestesiol” and “British journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) open access”; “Assistant Editorial Board Member” for the European Airway Management Society’s journal section of Trends in Anaesthesia & Critical Care” (TACC). • “Training and Education” committee for the European Airway Management society (EAMS). • Author of 27 publications (H-index 6).
