Mauri T.

Dr. Mauri studied at University of Milan-Bicocca, graduating in 2004. He has been a research fellow at the Dept. of Anesthesia and Critical Care, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston from 2007 to 2008 and then staff anesthesiologist and researcher at the Dept. of Anesthesia, San Gerardo Hospital and University of Milan-Bicocca, Monza, Italy from 2009 to 2014. Since October 2014, Dr Mauri is researcher and staff physician in the general ICU of the Dept. of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Milan - Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan, Italy. Dr. Mauri published in peer reviewed journals and authored book chapters on critical care topics including respiratory physiology, ARDS, mechanical ventilation, advanced respiratory monitoring and ECMO. Dr Mauri current research focuses are: the interaction between respiratory support (invasive, non-invasive and extra-corporeal) and patient’s physiology in ARDS; the pathophysiology of ventilator-induced lung injury; the determinants of respiratory drive
