Stefano Bambi, RN, MSN, PhD is Associate Professor in Nursing Sciences at University of Florence (Italy) He was formerly staff nurse in Emergency Department, Emergency & Trauma ICU, and Oncologic and Perioperative ICU & HDU, at Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Careggi, Florence, Italy. He is the coordinator of the Critical Care Nursing Post-Graduate Course at University of Florence, Italy Currently he is a lecturer in emergency and critical care nursing courses at University of Florence, University of Parma, and University of Bicocca – Milan, University of Palermo (Italy). He was speaker/chairman in many nursing conferences, and he’s author and co-author of more than 100 articles and abstracts published in national and international journals. He is a member of the Committee of ANIARTI (Italian Association of Critical Nurses). He’s editorial board member of the journal Dimensions of Critical Care Nursing, and recently joined the editorial board of AIR- Assistenza Infermieristica e Ricerca
