Marchese F.

Filippo Marchese is a Critical Care Nurse Educator at the IRCCS ISMETT in Palermo, his background and clinical experience is on the field of critical care patient. He Coordinates the onboarding nursing orientation of new staff to the organization training, develops education plans related to initial and ongoing competency validation in the Peri-Anesthesia field. He teaches the Critical Area module in the Nursing degree course at the University of Palermo. He also teaches at the same university in the 1st level Master in " Critical Care Nursing " (beginning of activity AY 2010 / 2011). Since 2017 he is Tutor in the Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Infermieristiche ed Osteriche course. He is a member of the register of instructors and trainers at the Regional Health Training Center of Sicily (CEFPAS). Conducts needs assessments using a variety of strategic tools: • Incorporates principles of adult learning in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs; • He is a Crew Resource Management trainer for healthcare teams, with the use of high fidelity patient simulators of multidisciplinairy team trainings.
